I saw what I saw and I can’t forget it
I heard what I heard and I can’t go back
I know what I know and I can’t deny it
Something on the road cut me to the soul
I say what I say with no hesitation
I have what I have and I’m giving it up
I do what I do with deep conviction
Something on the road changed my world

I heard what I heard and I can’t go back… How your life was forever changed.
I know what I know and I can’t deny it… Your testimony, your training brought you to this point.
Something on the road cut me to the soul… Remember the experiences that shaped you.
I say what I say with no hesitation… What you say has been carefully molded by God.
I have what I have and I’m giving it up… Serving God is a privilege that also requires sacrifice.
I do what I do with deep conviction… Your attitude, your persistence, your faith is your strength.
Something on the road changed my world… God is still in control of your life, of your world.
When we choose to serve Jesus Christ we face a huge challenge, yet we serve a God who is more than capable. Over the past few days, I collected a few statements of encouragement.
“The only way to know strong faith is to endure great trials.
I have learned my faith by standing firm through severe testings.”

Do you ever feel that you are being tested? Are you enduring great trials at home, at your job? They can strengthen our faith.
“Don’t be afraid; just believe.” (Mark 5:36)
“But if you ever are afraid, simply look up and say,
‘When I am afraid, I will trust in you.'” (Ps 56:3)
The promise of God is that your fear will be replaced with trust… believe it.
“Take heart, O weary, burdened one, bowed down beneath your cross;
Remember that your greatest gain may come through greatest loss.”

Take heart and remember… no matter how tough your loss, your greatest gain is still to come.
