Meet Our Six Teams

1. Evangelism -- Knowing Christ -
What are we doing as a team to reach the unchurched and welcome them once they arrive?

Communications -- Liaison between members, friends, interested persons, newcomers, the unchurched, church leaders and the Pastor. Designed special bulletin insert for prayer.

Living Word -- Organized around the clock prayer chain. Developing regular prayer for children and youth. Hold prayer service once each month.

2. Shepherding -- Loving Christ

What are we doing as a team to encourage each other and offer Christ's love?

  • Maintain loving contact with every person in our church.

  • Place everyone in a small group setting.

  • Help new people feel a part of the church.

  • Have an active prayer chain.

 

3. Teaching -- Growing in Christ

What are we doing as a team to help our people grow stronger, spiritually?

 Ministry Responsibilities
Youth Confirmation, Newcomers Class, Mom's Day Out Program, Nursery, Disciple Bible Study, Grand Sweep Bible Study, Vacation Bible School, Youth, Picnic Services,  Father's Day Service, Honoring our Graduates, Acolyte Training, Singles Ministry, Puppet Ministry

4. Ministry -- Serving Christ

What are we doing as a team to help people respond to the teaching with ministry?

Ministry Responsibilities

Pastor Parish Relations, Lay Leadership, Worship & Music, Drama Ministry, July -- Sabbath Month, Special Lent Programs, Special Worship Services, United Methodist Women, Promise Keepers, Nursing Home Visitation Ministry, Tape Ministry to Shut-ins

5. Missions -- Sharing Christ

What are we doing as a team to expand our ministry outreach throughout the community and world?

Ministry Responsibilities

Society of St. Andrews, Charlotte County Coat Project
Charlotte County Christmas Parents Program, Jimmy Beard Memorial Love Fund, Robert Balfour Scholarship Fund, Keysville UMC Food Bank, Project Care For, Wesley Foundation Campus Ministry

6. Administration -- Maintaining Christ

What are we doing as a team to maintain the good health of our ministry?
